Abi Christine Woodcock: FG Feature Gurl of the Week August 7th

I first discovered my enthusiasm for fitness after I had my daughter in 2009, soon I was competing in fitness competitions which fueled that enthusiasm, which has now developed into a passion to help others achieve their health and fitness goals

q2
I stay motivated mostly by all the amazing friendships I have made through the industry. I also keep my routines interesting, plus photo shoots and competitions keep me motivated and my diet in check!

q3
I like a little bit of everything, but mostly Alternative Rock

q4

Pizza and wine are my weakness

q5
I keep my daily diet balanced and I always allow myself one cheat meal a week even during competition season. Cheat meals have always kept me mentally sane and help to fight off those cravings.

q6
My diet consists of a whole lot of food! Every day I eat 5 to 6 meals every 2 to 3 hours. I incorporate fruit, fats (nut butter, avocado, almonds, etc.), complex carbohydrates, and lean proteins into my daily meals.

q7
— Dumbbell overhead shoulder press, because I love working shoulders and this exercise gives me an awesome pump!
— Single leg reverse lunge, these get my glutes every time!
— Deadlifts. I love deadlifts because they help achieve overall strength, and they are killer on my hamstrings and glutes!

q8
I would have to say Paige Hathaway. Her body is toned and very feminine… I love her body!

q9
The book “Real Talk. Real Women.” Is one of my biggest accomplishments since being a fitness personality. It is such an honor to share my story along with so many other amazing women who inspire me.

q10
I am a firm believer and recommend everyone to take BCAA’s, Glutamine, Fish oils, and Vitamins C and D

q11

q12
To inspire other women, especially mothers that live a healthy and active lifestyle. Once you become a mom, it’s not about you anymore and we can easily forget to take care of ourselves. It’s important to remember to make yourself a priority! You can’t take care of others, if you are not taking care of yourself.

q13
For the remainder of this year I plan to train hard so that I can hit that stage early next spring and present my best physique yet!
