Q: What would you say is the most important part of your fitness routine?

Balance and having fun! Along with weight training often, I try to incorporate some other types of training to keep my body “guessing” like rope training, kettle bells, etc. Of course the most important part of maxing out my fitness routine is by keeping a clean diet as well!

Q: What is your favorite body part to workout?

Glutes and Hams! Who can’t get enough of that area!

Q: You just competed at the Arnold 2012, it was your first show, when did you decide you wanted to compete?

About a year ago leading up to the 2011 Arnold Classic I decided I wanted to add a competition to my list of goals. With the year coming to and end and with the 2012 Arnold Classic quickly approaching, I decided I wanted to compete for sure. With the Arnold being a huge show, and a goal of mine, why not now and let it be during one of the biggest shows of the year!

Q: How long did it take you to get ready for your first show?

I live a clean lifestyle, with good eating habits and workout routines to stay lean year round. With that being said… when I finally decided 6 weeks out that I was going to do the Arnold classic, I still had a lot of work I wanted to do for myself! My workout routines intensified and my diet changed to be more suited for a competition diet. It was my first show, and your body is all a science, I learned so much over these 6 weeks with closely monitoring changes and what changes to make in my routines and diet to alter certain things.

Q: When competing what’s the best thing someone can do to support you?

There are so many things I could answer here. My schedule is hectic to anything to help with schedule conflicts and getting everything done throughout my daily routines. But more importantly leading up to the competition, offering motivation, support, and sharing the excitement with you. The best feeling is knowing you have those that care for you, there watching you do your show and providing their support cheering you on because they want to be there.

Q: What’s the best pick up line you have ever heard?

Oh I’ve got one alright and it even has to do with fitness! “Hey, Its your turn to spot me, because I spotted you from across the room when you walked in the gym.”

Q: Do you have a favorite restaurant and if so where is it and what would you order?

My go to spot is Marcella’s! I would order the Carrot Salmon Dish over arugula… and as a “cheat/treat” I order the Famous meatball to snack on before hand. It melts in your mouth!

My favorite dining experience that took me out of the box a little was Nobu in New York City. They bring out each course in an order pertaining to your pallet so that each new course/dish compliments the one before. They say they are the innovator of new style Japanese food. Everything was delicious!

Q: What’s your favorite clean meal/recipe?

I Love to cook and have so many! My all time favorite are my protein pancakes! <3 that's a way to my heart alright!  Try these low carb, low fat Chicken Lettuce wraps!
In a medium bowl mix the following ingredients and place in the refrigerator to chill for 45 minutes.
