What can we expect to see from you this year?
This year you can expect more publications, acting jobs, additional education in nutrition, and I’m headed back to CBBF Nationals in pursuit of my Pro Card after placing 2nd last year.

How is life as a sponsored athlete for Magnum Athlete?
Amazing! Life is fantastic. Being a Magnum Athlete means using the best products and surrounding yourself with the best talent. My Magnum family are made up of some incredible people with a wealth of knowledge and we always encourage each other.

What has been the hardest part of being a Fitness Model?
The hardest thing about being a fitness model is the precise diet. When I was a fashion model I would eat less consistently, low calories and just fit my macros in whenever. Now as a fitness model it’s not just about being slender… it’s about losing fat AND maintaining muscle mass so it takes a much more meticulous diet of specific things at specific times. I typically eat clean 90-95% of the time and then I LOVE fine dining as my re-feed days… Usually once per week do I have a high fat meal indulgent meal and otherwise my fats come from coconut oil and NutraSea fish oil. When my re-feed meal comes I want something like yolk-rich pasta with white truffle, duck confit, Kobe Steak, Tiramisu, Creme Brûlée… or maybe a really good quality burger.

What clothing brand is the most comfortable for working out?
My top four are Lululemon, One Tooth, Nike, and Celestial Bodiez.

Do you find supplements to be a big part of your diet or do you strive to achieve nutrition
through food?

Supplements fill the gaps in my nutrition as well as do things I cannot achieve through simple nutrition. Something like Carne Diem can’t be replicated by a food. And then of course Quattro Protein and Performance Greens are great as a small meal replacement if I’m busy with clients and can’t eat a solid meal.

Is there a quote that has kept you motivated throughout your career?
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually who are you NOT to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children we do. We were born to manifest the glory of God that is within us. Its not just in some of us; it’s everyone. And as we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence, automatically liberates others.”

What tip can you give aspiring fitness models to help advance their career?
Know your strengths, define your style and create a brand. Choose what you want to be, and be true to yourself and your brand. You can’t be all things to all people and you don’t want to be a “sell out”.

What’s next for you?
I’m dedicated to achieving my IFBB Pro Card, transforming my clients lives and growing my online business, and completing my nutrition certification to add to my FST, FMT, PTS certifications.
